EVERLANDS

....................................

Everlands (now defunct) was an international, exclusive club with a philosophy rooted in it's members love of travel and respect for nature and the environment. The newly-created Everlands Fellows Program was designed to honor individuals who have made remarkable achievements in the fields of art, conservation, education and the environment. I was tasked with the job of branding the program (and sister programs—the Artist-In-Residence Program and Conservation Program); creating materials to commemorate the start of the Fellows program; and designing an award that would be given to each Fellow as they are selected.

I decided to create a box set of "postcards" that would evoke a sense of intrigue about the Fellow and speak to the Everlands philosophy of love of travel and the environment. Since all of the Fellows were accomplished authors and education was one of the major tenets of the Program, I thought it was appropriate that the award be made of recycled vintage book covers, embossed with the logo and Fellow's name. I based the branding on passport stamps, giving each logo a unique shape
and color.
